Billing lives in the app at app.intucloud.ai. Team is purchased in-app without a sales call; Enterprise is contracted through sales.

Self-hosting the open-source engine is free forever and has no subscription at all.

What a message is

One inbound message processed by a channel, including fan-out to all of that channel’s destinations. An ADT message delivered to three destinations counts once, not three times.

Included volume

PlanMessages per monthThroughput
Free10,0005/sec
Team250,0005/sec
Enterprise5,000,00050/sec

Soft overage

Exceeding your included volume does not stop traffic. Clinical messages are never dropped for billing reasons.

What happens instead:

  1. At 80% of your included volume, you are notified.
  2. At 100%, you are notified again.
  3. You can add message blocks of 100,000 messages from the billing page.

Throughput is a different limit: it is a rate cap rather than a monthly allowance, and sustained traffic above it will show as growing queue depth in the monitor rather than as an overage notice.

Changing plans

Upgrades take effect immediately so a production environment becomes available as soon as it is needed. Downgrades take effect at the end of the billing period, and you will need to be within the lower plan’s environment and seat allowances first.

Leaving

Channels export as portable intu-dev projects that run on the open-source engine. There is no conversion step and no exit fee — see Exporting to intu-dev.
